Theft of the Golden Disk is the canonical prequel to the acclaimed Transformers: Beast Wars animated series. We at Octavirate developed this short film in conjunction with Fun Publications and the Transformers Collectors Club. The film debuted at Botcon 2007 as an extension of the previous year's convention storyline.

The production features vocal talents of David Kaye, Brad Venable, Frank Todaro, Ronald Smith and Trent Troop.
